On the final day of the Sacred Heart garage sale, a quilting frame was left unpurchased. CDA member Mary Chapman was quick to think about which charitable organization would be able to use it. She called on Daryl Brandt who makes Quilts of Valor for local veterans who was thrilled to get it.
ADVENT CALENDAR FOOD BOX

In an ordinary box, our court and parish members are asked to compile the food items listed and bring as donation to the Oelwein Kitchen Cupboard.
UGANDA BASKETS
Ongoing
At each meeting we hold a drawing to give away one of the coveted Uganda baskets.
These baskets are made with dried raffia and banana leaves, and the money from sales goes directly toward supporting the artist's family in Uganda with food, school fees, and other needs.
